Kaduna State Youths in Agric Graduate Trainee Programme
A practical pathway into agriculture
The Kaduna State Youths in Agric (KSYIA) Graduate Trainee Programme is designed to create a practical pathway for unemployed and interested graduate youths in Kaduna State to enter agriculture as a business and build sustainable livelihoods.
Selected graduates receive practical farming training, access to farmland, improved seeds and other agricultural support, so they gain hands-on experience in modern farming and agribusiness.
More than one farming season
The goal is not simply to train graduates for one season. Participants are supported to become independent farmers and agribusiness owners who manage productive farms, build profitable enterprises and grow towards becoming agrimillionaires. After training and the initial farming phase, KSYIA continues to monitor participating farms, identify where beneficiaries need more support and provide continued guidance.
Transport and farm expenses support
Each selected beneficiary receives ₦500,000 for transport and other farm expenses, including travel to and from their farm, during the programme, subject to the programme's approved eligibility and selection process.
